Introducing my blog: Flight Recorder chronicles my journey.
This new website and the respective blog will cover a lot of topics along my journey as a Work Systems Designer and a Flight Levels Coach. While the website name worksystems.design is set since a while, I was still looking for the decent blog name.
As I will dedicate a good part of my activities to Flight Levels in the foreseeing timeframe, I was looking for a name for my blog that somehow relates to, well, Flying.
A couple of minutes with my (not so new) AI assistant revealed the word black box. Not a good name for a blog. However, these black boxes are also known as flight recorders. And that’s a term I do like, fits well for keeping a trace of my thoughts, activities and insights. So, let’s call it Flight Recorder.
Interesting to learn, a flight recorder consists of 2 components:
- a flight data recorder (FDR), recording the actual data the plane is generating during the flight
- the cockpit voice recorder (CVR), recording conversations in the cockpit
Fits even better! I could use FDR for a log of my activities and CVR when writing about my thoughts about specific topics. We’ll see.
